We had a special, surprise GUEST APPEARANCE of the BAND “Notorious”

Eden MacAdam-Somer, fiddler, and Larry Ungar, guitar/banjo, and prolific songwriter, from the band “Notorious”.  The band lives in Boston, but were in Seattle as the headliner dance band for a weekend dance workshop. Karen made a connection with them on Saturday, and by Sunday they were booked for our workshop!  They were joined by local mandolin star, Dave Bartley, and presented a varied performance of folk styles.  Karen Iglitzin joined them on a medley of two New England fiddle tunes. Eden taught a gypsy tune to our whole gang, called “Gypsy Basso”
